Our History The Sanfilippo family started Sunfarm 3 generations ago, encompassing over 80 years. We first took root in the produce business as lemon tree farmers in Italy and learned from the ground up that hard work and dedication pay off to achieve the finest product grown. Our family then moved to the United States and became purveyors of fresh produce in St. Louis. In 1980 we relocated our produce company to Produce Row. Today we continue to expand to meet our customers growing needs. To prevent shortages, we have established a network with other distributors on Produce Row. Additionally, we have unique relationships with our vendors to protect our customers during growing gaps. Each week, we issue price quotes reflecting our best estimation of what the market price will be.
